Made for you, from something that already existed
Custom ReMix Projects
Bring me a piece, a photo, or nothing but an idea. I source what's missing and reimagine the rest into something that exists exactly once.
Yes, absolutely
- "Can you make this dress look like Ursula?"
- "Can you source something and turn it into the Queen of Hearts?"
- "I need a crown that survives eight weeks of a run."
- "Here is a photo from a movie. Can you get close?"
- "This costume is fine but it needs to be unforgettable."
Not this, though
"Can you sew me an entire historically accurate Victorian gown from a pattern?"
That's beautiful work — it just isn't what this is. I'm not a garment construction house and I don't build from scratch off a pattern. ACustom ReMix starts with something that already exists and takes it somewhere unexpected. Naming it that way keeps us both honest about what you're getting.
How it goes
- 01
Tell me the idea
A character, a show, a photo, a vibe, or a piece you already own. Rough is fine — "make this look like Ursula" is a complete brief.
- 02
I source and sketch
I hunt thrift stores, estate sales and my own stock for the bones of it, then come back with a direction, a timeline and a number.
- 03
You approve, I build
The 40% sourcing deposit books your spot and buys the materials. From there it's mine to make, with photos along the way.
- 04
Fitting and finish
Adjustments, detailing, and the last ten percent that makes it read from a distance. Then it ships or you pick it up.
What it costs, and when
No surprises at the end
40%
Sourcing deposit
Due when you book. This is the money that goes straight back out the door into thrift stores, estate sales and materials — so it's non-refundable once sourcing starts. It comes off the total, it isn't on top of it.
60%
Balance
Due before the piece leaves — at final fitting, pickup or shipping. You'll have seen photos long before this point; nothing about the finished piece should be a surprise.

To ask
Quotes are free and I'd rather tell you honestly that something isn't a good fit than take a project I can't make excellent.
Rush timelines, shipping and makeup are quoted separately so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
