Creativity has alwaysbeen part ofmy story.

Long before Creative ReMix Design had a name, I was the kid turning my mother's house into a neighborhood haunted house every Halloween. Store-bought costumes were never quite enough — I wanted them bigger, more detailed and more imaginative. Eventually, that meant creating the costumes, sets and props myself.

When I had children of my own, not much changed. My poor kids rarely got to walk into a store and simply pick a costume off the rack. I was much more likely to look at it and think, "I can make that better."

That instinct — to look at something ordinary and see what it could become — has followed me throughout my creative career.

In Connecticut, I opened The Creative Peacock, a photography and creative studio where photographers and other creatives could bring ideas to life. I designed sets, sourced and created wardrobe and props, and operated Makeup by CG, providing professional makeup for photoshoots, commercials, social media content and other creative projects.

When I moved to Tennessee in 2023, the physical studio closed, but the creativity didn't. The Creative Peacock continued online through DIY, home, fashion and creative content — but I found myself missing the part I loved most: creating something from almost nothing.

Costumes. Props. Sets. Characters. Transformations.

And that's where Creative ReMix Design began.

Today, I specialize in reimagining existing pieces — thrifted finds, forgotten garments, unexpected materials and things that simply need a little imagination — into one-of-a-kind costumes, accessories, props and creative designs.
